Tulip Bashing

The tulips are taking a beating with the rain this week. But they are still photogenic.

My collection of bulbs this year. Tulips, various daffodils, fresia. I have yet to see the big poppy emerge.
Today was in the 60s, sunny. Tonight, starting to rain again.

Got the dogwood planted today!

With the gift from my staff members, to honor my dad's life, I purchased a Giant Pacific Dogwood - recommended by the nursery. I wanted white flowers for now, and something that would grow big.

The system doesn't like the portrait orientation. But, lean over and you can see the tree in waiting.

After the rain

To date, 7.33 inches of rain this month, compared to an average of 4.5. Been drizzling to pouring for couple days. Had a break and the sun came out!

March 7 - First Daffodil

Here is the first Daffodil in my yard. Not quite opened up on March 7. Two days later, we've had a 60 degree day and the blossoms are liking it.
